Make sure you reserve Sunday afternoon, December 12, at 4:00 p.m. for the holiday tradition of Advent Lessons and Carols. This wonderful service, which originated in the Anglican Church in the 1930s, has been a feature of Advent at St. Michael’s for over two decades. It has also become one of the best-loved events in the community, and is a fabulous opportunity to reach out to your neighbors and friends and bring them into the green-decorated church. Come and hear the Advent story, interspersed with hymns and anthems, and add your voice to the prayers that hold up God’s people throughout the world. What a joyful way to help prepare your heart for the birth of the Christ Child and usher in the Prince of Peace!
