Tag Sale Fundraisers
The St. Michael’s Tag Sale is a Southern Vermont tradition!
Held once a year in May (our 2026 Tag Sale will be on Saturday, May 2), this ministry serves our community by recycling unwanted clothing, furniture, housewares, and other items, offering these items for very low prices to everyone in the community, including those in need. Proceeds from the Tag Sales go directly to fund local outreach in Southern Vermont.

Proceeds from the 2026 sale will benefit Loaves and Fishes food ministry. With a mission “to feed anyone who is hungry and food insecure,” Loaves and Fishes, located in Brattleboro’s Centre Congregational Church, is a community meals program committed to providing food twice a week for anyone who needs it, free of charge The donation-driven service prepares and distributes 350 hot meals a week and 60-75 bags of groceries.
Many volunteers are needed to support the Tag Sale ministry. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact the church office at 802-254-6048.

Please keep the Tag Sale in mind when you are reorganizing your belongings and cleaning out items in good condition that you no longer need – we can take books (except textbooks), clothing, shoes and linens in good shape, housewares (except electronics like TVs and computers) and selective furniture in good condition. All these items can be gratefully re-used by someone else! We usually start accepting donations of clothing, books, and housewares for May’s Tag Sale in February. We aim to receive furniture donations as close to the sale date as possible due to very limited storage space.
