Holy Saturday Walk and Meditations, March 31, 9 am: This year, we will have an opportunity to experience the Book of Common Prayer’s liturgy for Holy Saturday Morning and other meditations. We invite you to meet outside the Chapel on Saturday, March 31st at 9:00 am. We will then walk together to the Brattleboro Retreat Cemetery where we will do some readings from Anne Catherine Emmerich’s meditations, Dolorous Passion of Our Lord Jesus Christ. If possible wear red and/or a robe or shawl or blanket to wrap up in, rain, snow, or shine. Holy Saturday morning is about experiencing the grief, disorientation and wonder that the disciples and followers of Jesus felt after losing their Teacher in the crucifixion and not knowing what would happen next.
