St. Francis Blessing of the Animals, 4 pm on the Brattleboro Common

BLESSING OF THE ANIMALS ON THE COMMON,  OCTOBER 4 AT 4 PM:  Bring your dogs, cats, elephants, snakes, rabbits and/or whoever your animal companion is to a celebration in honor of St. Francis’ love for animals.   There will be a brief time of song (led by the Choir School) reading and prayers, then St. Michael’s clergy will bless your animals.   This is a wonderful event where we get the opportunity to meet the special members of our family who usually don’t come to church.   Please invite your animal-loving friends and neighbors!
